San Diego Jazz Ventures

Curated by internationally-known jazz producer Dan Atkinson, San Diego Jazz Ventures highlights jazz artists from around the world who are opening up new pathways at the highest level of the art form. Known for more than 30 years for his direction of acclaimed jazz concert series in La Jolla and San Diego, Atkinson is a Grammy-nominated producer and Grammy member who was designated a “Jazz Hero” by the national Jazz Journalists Association and has also been recognized by the City of San Diego with a day named in his honor. He has been a featured guest at jazz festivals and conferences throughout North America and Europe and is known widely as one of the leading presenters of jazz in the western United States.
